The patch_v variable is located at the phplive/API/Util_Vars.php file. Thus, if the system is not recognizing the variable, there could be few possibilities:
A. The phplive/API/Util_Vars.php file does not contain the patch_v variable
This is vary rare situation as the variable should always be present in the Util_Vars.php file. Check the file and see if $patch_v variable exists. If it does not, download the latest copy of the PHP Live! system from the client area and re-upload all the files to your server. If the Util_Vars.php file missing the $patch_v variable, there could be other variables missing. Re-upload of all the files, replacing the existing files.
B. The server is not including the phplive/API/Util_Vars.php file in various areas
First, download the latest copy of the PHP Live! system from the client area and re-upload all the files to your server. See if this resolves the issue. If it does not, it may very well be some type of server configuration that is preventing a nested PHP file include. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can do an in-dept troubleshoot to pinpoint the issue. FTP information to the server will be needed so that we can quickly troubleshoot the system.
